Ferrari has launched its new car Ferrari Portofino in the Indian market at a price of Rs 3.5 crores. Portofino is the replacement for the California T Model, and it is also the entry model for Italian supercar marquee in India.
Ferrari Portofino was firstly revealed in Italy at Ferrari’s anniversary celebrations last year and after one year it was released in India.
Portofino has a flowing seek line styling and it looks sharper than its replacement model California T.
It features a long bonnet, stubby rear, and a smiling front Grille and the rear looks more aggressive with twin tail lamps which we have seen it in other Ferrari models like GTC4 Lusso, 812 superfast etc..
talking about the engine, the Ferrari Portofino has the same 3.9 liters twin-turbo V8 engine like California T but it produces 6009s of max power and 760Nm peak torque.
The engine has been coupled with 7-speed dual clutch F1 transmission which can go 0-100kmph in just 3.5 secs, while 0-200kmph can be achieved in 10.8secs. It also has a new aluminum chassis which is much stiffer than California T and weighs around 80kg which is also lighter compared to its replacement.
The Ferrari Portofino also gets an Electronic Power Steering feature which is a first of its kind of GT car.
Coming to the interior, Portofino has a luxurious cabin with 10.2-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay, 5 inch TFT instrument cluster, 18-way electrically adjustable seats and more legroom space for rear seat passengers. All the interior space is draped with the finest leather and all the driver controls are attached to the steering wheel which we literally see in F1 cars.
other features of it also include a new wind deflector which cut the airflow inside the cabin and also reduces wind noise.
Hence these are details about the new Ferrari Portofino car and the sales of it will start from next month onwards and it will be sold Via Ferrari dealership in Mumbai and Delhi.
