Google Announced time watched tool to YouTube along with other features
Search Engine Giant Google has announced a new tool called ” Time Watched” under its new “Digital Well Being Initiative“, with this tool users can know how much time they have spent watching videos in Google’s video sharing platform “Youtube“. This new tool will be rolled out from this monday in both the Android and IOS versions apps.
In the Google’s blog post they wrote” that the new time watched tool will be accessible to users under their accounts menu, in that users can able to see how long they have watched videos on the youtube platform today, yesterday, over the past seven days.
Not only this, Google also added some other well being features also as the “Break Reminders” and notifications limitations to help users keep tracking of time.
under the digital well being initiative, Youtube has Launched “Take a break” feature for android users to help users get free from the screen from time to time, users can set reminder alert to appear after every 15, 30, 60, …minutes of time passed so that they can take a break in between watching the videos, or else they close the app according their time of spending on it.
Additionally, Youtube also providing users an scheduled video update notifications for the channels they have subscribed only at a particular time of the day.
They can also have the option to disable the sound and buzz notification from the app for some specified time period.
